I love the Bianchi Cup!  I fell in love with this match from the moment I took my first shots in US Army black and gold.  It challenges and humbles me. It teaches me something new every time I compete.  In the action shooting sports, it is the one event on the circuit where the results aren’t solely based on competitors shooting against one another. What an exciting day at the range! Rob Leatham cleaned the plates and took the Metallic Division.  Dave Sevigny claimed the Production title.  In a nail biter finish, Bruce Piatt edged out Doug Koenig by one X on the Mover Event to win the coveted Bianchi Cup.
I shot two events today, the Barricade and the Practical.  The Barricade went well and I cleaned it.  After a quick trip back to the practice range to double check my zero, I discovered my scope clicked out of elevation after each shot.  Thankfully …

It was another great day at the range.  I shot the Plate Event and was squadded with the reigning world action pistol ladies champion, Helen Jeavons and USPSA/SCSA ladies champion Jessie Abbate.   There are so many lady shooters this year!  My run went very well and I downed all 48 plates.

Just a quick update from the 30th Anniversary Bianchi Cup.  First off, HUGE congrats to my teammate Annette Aysen for winning the ladies title in the Nostalgia Match on Monday.  This is Annette’s first Bianchi Cup and she is already off to a great start.  Here is a photo of her shooting the Mover Event with her S&W Model 686.
