SHOOT Quick Tip: 10 Tips for Purse Carry Video
Now, more than ever there are so many options for women to carry — both on-body and off-body. I highly recommend on-body over off-body carry but I also believe in having CCW empathy. Whether it’s physical challenges, like advanced pregnancy or disabilities or even just having the right mindset and being ready to carry on the body, bag carry is an option for many to protect themselves. In my latest Youtube video, I talk about how to do it right.
10 Tips for Off-Body Carry
- Choose a bag designed for concealed carry.
- Use the compartment for your firearm for your handgun ONLY.
- Consistency is key.
- Maintain control of your purse or secure it properly.
- Orient your purse with safety in mind.
- Practice drawing from your purse.
- Use additional space in your bag to store ammunition and other lifesaving tools.
- Seek out training.
- Commit to improvement.
- Keep an open mind.
Just like your personal style changes over time, your body and mindset evolve too. What may feel good or right at the beginning of your CCW journey can and likely will change over time. Reevaluating how you carry is important in order to make sure you are using the best options for you. If you’d like to get 10% off Cameleon Bags, check out my affiliate link.
