WATCH: Day 1 of the IPSC World Shoot
In this week’s Youtube/RECOILtv video, I’m sharing the final 3 stages of my first day of the 2017 IPSC World Shoot. Stages 15, 16, and 17 all had their own special challenges.
In my Stage 15, 16, & 17 Breakdown I talk about:
- Understanding miss/no-shoot values
- Realistic goals
- Cooper tunnels
- Using props and the ground for increased accuracy
As I mentioned in the video, I am so happy I found my SD cards from the match with the headcam footage of many of the stages. I’ve been using a Tachyon Gun Cam (Amazon afflilate link) for a while to help get this additional, first-person perspective. They just came out with a new, smaller, and lighter version too!
Gun: Smith & Wesson Pro Series 9mm 1911 (Watch the video)
Gear: Federal Premium Syntech Acton Pistol, Safariland ELS Rig & More (Watch the video)
I love how diverse each of the courses was on Day 1. Is there a stage you’d like to shoot? Let me know on YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram.
