SHOOT Quick Tip: How you set your firearm down matters
Competition shooters in practical shooting sports are always looking for ways to save time and be efficient. That attention to detail can cross over into everyday gun handling too. Little things can make a huge difference and reduce the fumble factor when it comes to handling your firearm. Whether I am setting my pistol down for a table start in competition or securing it in my bedside safe, I make sure I place it on the side so that I can access it easily and get a good grip with my strong hand. It’s a good habit to get into.
