Making the Top 40 in 2019
Well, would you look at that? I’ve made the Top 40 list of the Most Influential Gun Industry Influencers of 2019! Danger Close Weapons Media Group puts out annual top influencer lists and bases criteria on more than just the number of followers an influencer has. They also take into account their own social media followers’ beliefs too. They ask their network of fans to nominate gun industry influencers that they trust the most. The result is a comprehensive list of influencers that not only have the big numbers but are truly influential too. That element of trust means more to me than any type of stat and I am honored to make two of these top 40 lists.
Top 40 Most Influential Gun Industry Influencers on Social Media.
First up, Danger Close lists the top influencers with the greatest numbers and impact on social media combined. Chances are you follow many of these accounts. Coming in at #7 you’ll see a personal favorite of mine, the one and only Jerry Miculek. He’s a living shooting sports legend and a fellow Smith & Wesson teammate. Also making the overall Top 40 is my friend 22Plinkster. He shoots for Team Federal Premium and aside from awesome trick shots, his posts throughout social media will make you smile.
The report then breaks down top influencers on Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, and Instagram. This is where I pop up in the results. I am listed at #12 on Twitter and #31 on Facebook. You’ll also see names from Season 5 of Love at First Shot. Pro’s Janna Reeves and Cheyenne Dalton are making their impact in the world of social media.
