WATCH: New Carry Gun?
Shoulder surgery recovery has forced me to reevaluate several things, including my carry gun. My husband read me this quote the other day by Epictetus and it hit home.
There are 2 things that must be routed out in human beings – arrogant opinion and mistrust. Arrogant opinion expects that there is nothing further needed, and mistrust assumes that under the torrent of circumstance there can be no happiness.

It’s easy to fall into the trap of arrogance or mistrust, especially when you become proficient or successful in a thing. In doing so, you actively choose to stop learning. Though an injury or incident can be a huge setback, it can also result in growth. Instead of a negative, it becomes a positive experience as you take a fresh look at your situation from a different perspective. When it comes to carrying a firearm while I successfully heal, I have 2 options — not carrying at all or making some significant changes with an open mind.
In this week’s video on Youtube, I share the firearms and features I considered as well as what I ultimately decided… for now.
Stay tuned for more videos on YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook as I share additional steps and resources that are helpful when it comes to carrying a firearm concealed.
