On the Cover & Featured in Shooting Sports USA
It’s a big deal to make a cover. Whether it’s on Time, Newsweek, the beauty world or one of the more “acceptable” sports publications, it means something. Making a cover in the wonderful world of shooting sports and firearms means just as much to me.
When I was a little girl, I had my wonder women I looked up to. My heroes? Women in the shooting sports like Sheila Brey, Kippi Leatham and Kay Miculek. I admired their tenacity, hard work and most of all, how they stayed true to themselves through it all.
I’m so excited to share I made another cover! John Parker, Shooting Sports USA’s Managing Editor, wrote a feature that brought tears to my eyes. Influence is a powerful thing, especially when it inspires someone to chase their dreams, especially a young and talented lady shooter like Cheyenne Dalton. The fact that it’s Women’s History Month, makes it all the more special.

She has inspired me to look at the big picture and not just one facet of my life and the shooting industry…”
