SHOOT Quick Tip – Firearms & Fashion
In this shooting tip, I’m addressing the times when it isn’t the best idea to wear firearms-related clothing and accessories. You read that right. It’s not always useful to make a firearms fashion-forward statement. Before you head out the door, think about whether or not wearing gun or shooting-related clothing or accessories may cause you some sort of issue or identify you as a gun owner in an environment where it may not be productive. Think twice before donning any sort of bullet or ammo accessories for air travel — things like bullet earrings or keychains. These are better packed in your checked luggage or left at home to avoid issues with the Transportation Security Administration (TSA).
