SHOOT Quick Tip – Dealing with Nerves
Do you have a case of nerves when you shoot? Some things I like to do before the buzzer sounds or the pressure is on is to try to release the tension through movement. I roll my shoulders forward and back. I stretch my neck by moving my head from side to side and then rolling it around from one shoulder to the other. I also like to take long deep breaths in through the nose and out through the mouth to help slow down my heart rate. Finally, smile and remember to have fun!
