SHOOT Quick Tip: Match Prep, Get Organized with Checklists
I am a huge fan of lists and use them to make sure I have everything I need to perform my best. Whether you are traveling to a major competition or just hitting your local range, creating checklists can be very helpful to make sure you are set and ready to go SHOOT! Lists like the ones below can help you stay organized so that you can focus on your shooting.
Travel Checklist: On the road? Make a checklist to ensure you have registered and made all necessary reservations for hotels, flights, rental car, etc.
To Do List: Have things you have to take care of before you shoot? Make a list to help you get them done before you head out the door.
Packing List: Ever been to a match and realized you left a critical piece of gear or your ammo at home? Write down the all items you will need to compete, from guns and gear to clothing and toiletry items.
You can create a list in an email, on Google Docs or through programs like Word, Pages, Excel and Numbers. Save and then simply print your list each time you need it.
